Case Studies

The Highgate Care Home

To illustrate the breadth of work music therapy can include, the following case studies come from my work at one care home - The Highgate in North London, a 50-bed, Bupa-owned care home where I currently work as music therapist one day a week.

Over my years working at the home, music therapy has become integrated into many aspects of life — from individual sessions supporting residents with complex needs, to group work and larger community creative projects.
